An allergist is a physician trained and certified in either Pediatrics or Internal Medicine, with additional and extensive fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology. Allergists are highly qualified specialists that diagnose, manage and treat multiple immune system disorders, such as nasal, eye, food, medication, and bee sting allergy, asthma and inherited/acquired immunodeficiency disorders.
