Advocare was founded in 1998 by 23 dedicated pediatricians with a shared vision: to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining physician independence. What began as a small group of doctors has since grown into one of the largest and most respected independent, multi-specialty physician groups in the region.
In 2007, Children's Health Associates officially became Advocare, LLC, marking a new chapter in our evolution. By 2010, Advocare had expanded to 45 Care Centers with over 200 providers, broadening our reach and deepening our impact on patient care.
As patient needs evolved, so did Advocare. We expanded beyond pediatrics to include specialties such as
Ear, Nose & Throat,
Neurology,
Endocrinology,
OB/GYN, and
Orthopedics, ensuring comprehensive care for individuals and families alike. In 2020, we took another major step forward by introducing
Behavioral Health services, addressing the growing demand for mental health support within our communities.
Today, Advocare comprises over 800 providers across 170+ Care Centers, serving more than 800,000 patients throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and, as of 2025, Delaware. Each year, we continue to grow—expanding into new locations, welcoming new Care Centers, and strengthening our commitment to exceptional healthcare.
