North Brunswick Medical Associates Joins Advocare

Advocare, a physician-owned multispecialty medical group with over 730 providers, continues to grow its footprint in New Jersey by welcoming North Brunswick Medical Associates.

North Brunswick Medical Associates, located in North Brunswick, NJ, offers comprehensive adult health services, including management of acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and individual health maintenance. The practice is led by board-certified owners Najaf Asrar, MD, Rohail Asrar, MD, and Nadia Ali, MD, providing Internal Medicine, Primary Care, and Endocrinology services. They are supported by Physician Assistants Tamkeen Shaikh and Grace Groh.

Dr. Najaf Asrar, born in Canada and raised in Florida, completed medical school and Internal Medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. He pursued an Endocrinology fellowship at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, focusing on endocrine conditions, with a particular interest in diabetes, adrenal and thyroid disease, and weight loss.

Dr. Rohail Asrar, originally from Canada, completed a surgery internship at Staten Island University Hospital before transitioning to internal medicine. He finished his residency and served as Chief Resident at Staten Island University Hospital.

Dr. Nadia Ali, a New Jersey native, completed three years of Internal Medicine Residency and has been a practicing board-certified physician for over ten years. She emphasizes preventive medicine, women's health, and obesity/nutrition.
