Nationally recognized for his pivotal roles in managing and securing complex technological infrastructures, Ed Maule’s passion is to bring enterprise-level productivity, simplicity, scalability, and security to growing healthcare organizations.  

Over the years, Ed has been widely acknowledged for his contributions to the field, most recently announced as a finalist for the 2024 Healthcare CIO Philadelphia Orbie Awards. He has also been named a Top 50 Technology Professional in 2024 and Information Security Professional of the Year in 2023 by OnCon Icon Awards. In 2022, Cyberdefense Magazine honored him as a Top Global CISO, highlighting his global impact in the cybersecurity space.   

In his current role, Edward oversees clinical, HR, and financial systems, infrastructure, and ensures cybersecurity governance and operations across the enterprise. His team of 45 enhances patient experiences, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiencies providing critical support to over 800 providers across 250 locations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. 

In addition to CIO and CISO, Ed currently serves as the HIPAA Security Officer at Advocare, a position he has held since 2019, ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory standards. In 2024, he was appointed to the advisory board of the New Jersey Health Information Network (NJHIN), where he helped guide the state’s approach to health information exchange and data security. He is also a member of the Executive Committee for the Philadelphia Chapter of the Private Director's Association, contributing his expertise in governance and risk management.  

Ed’s educational background includes a B.S. in Information Technology from Thomas Edison State University and an MBA from St. Joseph's University. His professional qualifications include being a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Project Management Professional (PMP), credentials that reflect his broad expertise in both cybersecurity and project management.  Outside of his professional life, Edward enjoys expressing his creativity as an avid amateur chef, while also pursuing his passions for film and music as a cinephile and audiophile.
